The Narrative: The project brief presented a compelling challenge: to reconcile the seemingly disparate realms of Thai flora and wintry aesthetics.
Tasked with bridging this stylistic chasm, the artist was invited to explore the potential synergies between these antithetical motifs, crafting a visual dialogue that harmonizes the tropical exuberance of Thai florals with the cool, austere qualities typically associated with winter.
The design concept sought to harmonize the bride's affinity for tropical boho-glam aesthetics with the groom's nostalgic vision of a winter wonderland.
This juxtaposition was realized through a monochromatic palette of white and gold, where bleached tropical flora and foliage evoked the ethereal quality of snow while preserving the inherent tropical essence.
Iterative design processes, informed by the hotel's color scheme and the bride's gown, transformed the space into a personal, regal domain. The decor was meticulously curated to complement the hotel's classic architecture, resulting in a timeless and sophisticated ambiance.
